Design Experience
This Island Origins Magazine is such a well produced, informative and visually stimulating publication that I typically can’t wait to grab the next edition. I find myself sharing it with everyone I know who in turn falls in love with the Caribbean through its pages. If you haven’t gotten a copy of Island Origins magazine yet, hurry up! The publishing process requires a hands-on approach as we connect with high profile names throughout the Caribbean and diaspora like representatives from Facebook, Karen Andre of the Biden-Harris administration, Miss Universe Jamaica, Miqueal-Symone Williams and Julian Marley, son of reggae music icon Bob Marley.
As another all encompassing publishing project, we manage everything from initial concepts to print and distribution. The process involves creating detailed writing briefs, assigning stories to hired writers, copy editing, conducting interviews, customizing layout designs with our graphic designers, outreach to various outside organizations for sponsorship or features, ad sales and placement and more.
