Based on Visit Lauderdale’s visual branding guide and its mission of inclusivity for “Everyone Under the Sun,” Island Syndicate developed a magazine logo, design schemes, content plans, copy, editing, custom photography and layout for their new Explore Greater Fort Lauderdale visitor guide series.

Throughout the publishing process, we created a custom logo that reflects the client’s new mission, produced detailed writing briefs to send to our skilled writers, edited copy to reflect language relative to the brand, sent out our team of photographers to capture the best of each municipality and managed relations with various outside organizations featured in the magazines on behalf of the client, forming relationships that the client can continue on past these publications.
With direction from the client, our team took care of everything throughout the publishing process from start to finish. After creating copy and sourcing or producing photo content for the pages, we worked with graphic designers to draft custom layouts for digital and printed versions of the Explore guides at either 24 or 32 pages each, following branding guides for colors, fonts and logos. We also managed deadlines for client approval and covered the printing and distribution of all published items into the marketplace.
